That crack I reported before is still hanging in there – by about 19 km (or 12 miles in old money). It’s hard to say when it is likely to calve, but the development of the crack has slowed since it tore through ice earlier in the season. In fact, the crack hasn’t gotten any longer, but the iceberg-in-waiting is slowly drifting away from the main shelf every day.
